Dragon Senior Surprised with LIVE BIG Scholarship

IMG_9980Carroll Dragon senior Craig Miller got a big surprise last week.

He was awarded the LIVE BIG! Foundation scholarship worth $4,000 to be used toward college. Miller will be attending the TCU Honors College in the fall to study finance.

It came as a surprise because Miller was at Carroll Elementary with other former CES students posing for yearbook photos. Then, they unveiled the big news.

The Chance Clifton LIVE BIG Foundation is a Christ-centered organization inspired by the life of Chance Clifton. In Chance’s all-too-short 17 years he lived more than many people do in decades. In an effort to both honor the memory of a short life well-lived and to inspire other high school seniors to LIVE BIG, the Foundation has established a scholarship to help fund post-graduate education.

LIVE BIG scholarships will be $4,000 each to be awarded directly to the institution of higher learning attended by the recipient at a rate of $1,000 annually for four years.
