Read Across America: Dr. Seuss at OUES

LibraryDr. Seuss made such an impact on children’s literature that his birthday was worth celebrating recently in the Old Union Elementary Library. Monday started off with 4th grade announcement helpers performing a reader’s theater tribute to Dr. Seuss’s fun books.

The kindergarten classes enjoyed Mrs. Loomis’s favorite Seuss book, Oh the Thinks You Can Think.

The first grade classes are thinking about Dr. Seuss’s impact on children’s literature by learning more about the Geisel Award which honors books written for the early readers.
