Carroll 2013 Graduate Paul Miltenberger

Services will be held Saturday for a 2013 Carroll graduate who died following a hit-and-run accident in Dallas early Sunday morning. A Celebration of Life for Paul Miltenberger, a student at the University of Missouri and a former member of the Dragon soccer team, will be held at 11 a.m. at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake.

Paul Robert Miltenberger was born on September 1, 1994 in Plano, Texas. The family moved to Southlake when he was two-years-old. Paul began school in the Carroll system as a kindergartner and graduated from Carroll Senior High School.

As a middle schooler he was involved in all of the Carroll sports teams and the teen leadership program.

In high school Paul was a member of the varsity soccer team. He was active in the Young Men’s Service League and participated in many volunteer activities. He traveled with a group of adults and youths on a mission trip to Kid’s Place – Recife, Brazil through Volunteers for Christ.

Paul was a sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he was majoring in Business Marketing. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and bonded closely with his fraternity brothers. He was recently elected as the chapter’s intramural chairman.

Paul had a zest for life and would want all of his friends and fellow students to remember his enthusiasm and joy for living.  He would ask that each of you honor him by living your life to the fullest and in service to others.

Paul is survived by his parents Mary Ann and Lew, his brother Cole, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his grandparents, Fred and Jeane Dobbs.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to (1) Volunteers for Christ Brazil, 1824 8th Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76110; (2) RISE Adaptive Sports, P.O. Box 141122, Irving, Texas 75014; or (3) Paul Miltenberger Memorial Scholarship Fund with checks to “Zeta Phi Society” c/o Bill Toalson, Beta, P.O. Box 998, Columbia, MO 65205.
