Texas Turnaround Temporary Closure

Updated: 04/14/15 – Due to a rain delay, the closing of the Texas Turnaround for the installation of street lights has been rescheduled for today, Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Work is expected to last all day, weather permitting. 

On Monday, April 13, 2015, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will temporarily close the Texas Turnaround Bridge located at the N. Carroll Avenue/SH 114 overpass just south of Gateway Church (see map).

TxDOT crews will be installing street lights on the turnaround bridge in order to enhance motorist safety during nighttime driving. Work is expected to last all day Monday and the Texas Turnaround is scheduled to be re-opened Tuesday, April 14^th.
