Southlake’s Home for the Holidays will kick-off with Tree Lighting Celebration on November 21, 2015

Bell-Stacked-Text_logo (1)It’s almost that time of year again! What better way to kick off the Holiday season in Southlake than with the annual Home for the Holidays Tree Lighting Celebration.

This year’s Tree Lighting Celebration is less than two months away and will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 4:30 – 8:30 PM in Southlake Town Square. Event festivities will begin at 4:30 PM with all the traditional activities and crafts. There’s something for everyone in the family including; holiday refreshments, Christmas carolers, ornament and cookie decorating and of course, live entertainment by the Southlake Community Band and local choirs. Plus, don’t miss out on strolling holiday characters!

A special thanks to Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine for being this year’s Title Sponsor!

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be at 6:30 PM; after the tree is lit, continue to enjoy Southlake Town Square, get pictures with Santa or even go tubing on the custom snow hill!

NK6_0162While the holidays are always fun, magical and the perfect time to spend precious moments with your family, they are also a time to reflect and think about others that may be in need. This year, The City of Southlake is partnering with Christmas is for Children with a Fill the Tahoe food drive. Families are encouraged to bring canned, non-perishable food and cereal to donate to Christmas is for Children.
