Carroll Theater Department Performs “Young Frankenstein”

Carroll Theater Department’s fall production of “Young Frankenstein” will run from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1.  Over 100 Carroll ISD students will work together through the choir, orchestra, tech and crew members to bring this family-friendly comedy musical to life.

The Carroll Theater Department has created an entire Halloween weekend experience, with the addition of a haunted house and Trunk-Or-Treat to partner with their performance of “Young Frankenstein.” Carroll Middle School’s Theater Department presents the CTC Haunted Studio Tour, which will be held at CSHS on Oct. 24, from 5 – 9 p.m., as well as before the weekend showing from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., and before the weekend matinee showings, from noon – 1:30 p.m. Experience a tour through a haunted movie studio, and a journey through some of horror’s greatest known characters! Tickets are $7.00, and available at www.dragondrama.net or at the door.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, at 5:00 p.m., there will also be a Trunk or Treat hosted by the Carroll Theater Boosters to compliment this festive day of Halloween fun. Families, schools clubs and organizations will be in attendance with festive decorations and candy to celebrate Halloween. There will be a costume contest with awards given to the lucky winners.

Friday, Oct. 30 will be Senior Night, recognizing the hard-working seniors in the Carroll Theater Department. Theater director Ms. Jamie Pringle will make her directorial debut at Carroll during the weekend performances of “Young Frankenstein,” alongside Director Roald Martinsen. Get your tickets for the show and haunted house before the festivities begin this weekend.
