Dragon Marching Band Wins Big

They competed at CH Collins Stadium in Denton against 24 area bands and came home with the 3rd place trophy, and placed 2nd in class. Percussion was awarded 3rd overall, 2nd in class, and the Dragon Colorguard received 5th overall.

US Bands is a program organized by YEA! Youth Education in the Arts, a non-profit organization that allows America’s young and talented performers to compete in multiple events nationwide. The Dragon Band is made up of about 250 students, grades 9-12, from Carroll High School and Carroll Senior High School. The Dragon Band is led by directors Jay Bach, Ken Johnson, David Lown and David Walker.
