The Carroll Education Foundation champions innovation and excellence in education. The Board wants interested members of the community to get involved and support the CEF mission: To enrich, expand and protect excellence in education by creating and distributing resources for the benefit of the students of the Carroll Independent School District.
CEF’s goal is to continue to meet the educational needs of Carroll ISD and help offset the detrimental effects of Robin Hood legislation and future legislative cuts set by the state.
The CEF Board meets monthly and is looking for nominees that want to actively participate in the organization’s efforts to creatively and efficiently raise money for CISD classroom, grade level and program grants. Interested candidates should fill out the CEF Board Nomination Form and submit it to Board President, Mimi Tran, at firstname.lastname@example.org no later
than noon on Friday, Oct. 23. For more information on Carroll Education Foundation, go to www.southlakecef.org.
