Communication With Kids: Helping Kids Decrease Stress & Anxiety

Carroll ISD counseling department hosts Erin Smith, M.Ed., LPC, as she shares communication strategies that can help decrease a child’s stress and anxiety and to increase self-esteem and resilience. Parents, students, staff and any community members are invited to hear this important message on Thursday, Oct. 29. The presentation will take place on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. and also at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll High School.

Erin Smith has worked for many years with kids of all ages and their families. Most recently she worked as Carroll ISD’s crisis intervention/support counselor, grades 5-12, and she is  now continuing her support of Southlake families as a licensed professional counselor with Smith Clinical Services, PLLC, located in Trophy Club, TX.

Also assisting with the presentation will be former Dawson Middle School counselor Jennifer Kruse, M.Ed, LPC of The Wellhouse Group, PLLC and Jenna Mack, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT of SkyLife Wellness, PLLC.

The presentation will be held in the Carroll High School Lecture Hall, located at 800 White Chapel Blvd. Southlake, Texas 76092.
