City of Southlake offers numerous programs for Preschoolers

The City of Southlake Parks and Recreation Department is offering a lot of options for parents of preschool age children. These programs and activities are for children as young as 18 months and up to 5 years old. You can learn more about these programs in the Spring 2016 issue of the Southlake Scene.

Opportunities range from ongoing programs such as Lil’ Chefs and Jo-Ann’s Little Dancers to single events like Superhero Snacktime and Princess Tea Party. These programs are more than just fun & games, they are also beneficial in general child development. Through these programs, preschoolers are learning new skills and being exposed to new activities while also learning to socialize with other children. It’s an all-around win for the whole family.
