CHS and CSHS Libraries Host “Book Madness”

With March Madness right around the corner, the CSHS and CHS libraries are excited to announce “Book Madness,” complete with brackets of the 16 most popular checked out books from both libraries.

The brackets will be available in the libraries, on the library web pages, and also through English teachers starting on Feb. 8. Students will be encouraged to fill them out and turn their bracket predictions in by Feb. 12. Voting will take place online beginning Feb. 16, and the brackets will be updated weekly over the course of 4 weeks until the winner is announced on March 11.

There will be a weekly drawing from all entries from both schools, in which one person will win a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card each week. Once the champion book is crowned during the final week, the student with the most correct predictions will win a $100 iTunes gift card. Winners will be crowned from both CHS and CSHS.

The link for voting will be available weekly starting on Feb. 16 on both the CSHS and CHS library web pages. Parents, teachers, and community members are encouraged to vote also, but only students are eligible to win the prizes. For more information contact CSHS Librarian Sarah Chase or CHS Librarian Heather Loomis.
