Southlake Police Asking for Your Help in Identifying ID Theft Suspect

The Southlake Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a suspect wanted for ID theft.  On January 16, 2016 police were called to the Texas U Can Paint store located in the two thousand block of SH 114 in reference to a theft. The victim reported that her wallet had been stolen between 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

After viewing video surveillance camera footage from inside the store, police witnessed a black female go behind the counter and place an item into her jacket pocket. She then left the store. The suspect may have been traveling in a vehicle (pictured below) that was seen on video surveillance making several passes in front of the store.

The victim told police that her credit card was used that same day, without her consent, at the Quick Trip in Southlake as well as a Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurant in Hurst and a JJ’s Fast Stop in Watauga.

If you can identify this suspect or have information to pass along to police, please contact Detective Chris Melton at (817) 748-8129 or by email cmelton@ci.southlake.tx.us.
