Soccer Update: Lady Dragons Clinch District Championship

The Carroll Lady Dragons continued their impressive season by clinching the District 7-6A championship last Friday at Dragon Stadium. The Lady Dragons defeated Colleyville Heritage 5-0 to remain undefeated and clinched their fourth district title in the last five seasons. Ally Griffin scored two goals which put her at 40 goals for the season, the most in school history. Allie Luna added one assist and has tied the single-season record at 24. Carroll plays at Haltom at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday before finishing the season Friday on Senior Night vs. L.D. Bell.

Dragons Defeat Colleyville Heritage
The Dragons added another big District 7-6A victory last Friday 4-1 vs. Colleyville Heritage. The victory moved Carroll to 13-4-4 overall and 6-3-1 in district with two games remaining. Carroll hosts Haltom on Tuesday for Senior Night at 7:30 p.m. and plays at L.D. Bell on Friday.
