Orange Barrel Alert – Shady Oaks Reconstruction To Begin June 16th

City of Southlake and Tarrant County annual  roadway reconstruction project will begin this Thursday, June 16, 2016.

The City of Southlake Public Works Streets/Drainage division will be partnering with Tarrant County Precinct 3 to reconstruct Shady Oaks drive from the north property line of Bicentennial Park north to West Highland Street.

Work is expected to begin Thursday, June 16, 2016, weather permitting.

Crews will work from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, to minimize the impact on motorists.  This section of Shady Oaks Drive will remain open and flaggers will be on the scene directing traffic.

Motorists can expect delays when traveling through the work zone and should plan trips accordingly.  The project is anticipated to be complete in early August 2016, prior to the start of the school year at the end of the month.
