TxDOT will remove the above barriers
Some progress to report with the FM 1938/Davis Boulevard improvement project.
TxDOT will be removing the temporary traffic barriers located in front of the Compass Bank/DPS West shared driveway. This will allow drivers to access Compass Bank and the City’s DPS West facility from Southlake Boulevard.
Beginning Tuesday June 22, 2016, the westbound right (outside) lane on Southlake Boulevard (FM 1709), from west of Meadowlark Lane/Players Circle to FM 1938 (Davis Blvd), will be closed.
TxDOT contractors will be removing the temporary traffic barriers located in front of the Compass Bank/DPS West shared driveway (see image). The barrier in front of the Shell station will remain to allow for work on the island at this location.
Work is expected from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Traffic delays are likely while the work is being done so please plan accordingly.
