Give Back Challenge Food Drive Underway in CISD

When the Ozarka® 100% Natural Spring Water plant in Hawkins, Texas was damaged by a tornado in April, the company learned first-hand the importance of community.

That’s why Ozarka’s asking Carroll ISD schools to rally around GRACE Food Pantry during the Give Back Challenge food drive, taking place Monday, Aug. 29 through Friday, Sept. 2  at Carroll ISD campuses. Students are asked to bring a nonperishable packaged food item to school to donate to the GRACE Food Pantry. The school that donates the most food will be named the Compassion Champion, and will be awarded a commemorative award in the coming weeks.

List of food items needed.

The contest winner will be announced during Carroll’s football game vs. Arlington Martin on Friday night at Dragon Stadium.

Fans at the football game can also help. Food collections bins will be placed the gates for Friday’s Dragon game. The stadium food drive will benefit Tarrant Area Food Bank.

For each canned food item contributed at the schools or the game, Ozarka will donate one half-liter bottle of water, up to 10,000 bottles to Grace and the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Please help our neighbors in need by bringing a food donation to a CISD campus this week or to Dragon Stadium on Friday.
