Dragons Bounce Back with Big Win vs. Martin

The Carroll Dragons bounced back in resounding fashion with a 37-14 victory last Friday vs. Martin at Dragon Stadium.

The Dragons led 14-0 early in the game and its big-play offense returned with a lift from defensive back-turned receiver Robert Barnes. The Oklahoma-bound standout had six catches for 153 yards receiving to help ignite the offense. It was his first action at receiver for the Dragons.

Dragon quarterback Mason Holmes finished 15-of-28 for 320 yards. The running game was impressive as the Dragon overpowered Martin with 245 yards rushing. Audricke Gaines had 21 carries for 136 yards and two touchdowns in a breakout performance and Jack Johannson added three rushing TDs.
