Carroll ISD is proud to support the City of Southlake and National Fire Protection Association’s campaign by recognizing Fire Prevention Week October 9-15. The Fire Prevention Week message for this year is “Don’t Wait – Check the Date! Replace smoke Alarms Every 10 Years,” which encourages families to pay special attention to the state of the smoke alarms in their homes.

The City of Southlake will be visiting multiple CISD elementary campuses to encourage the messages of fire safety and fire prevention. Activities will include coloring contests in the Pre-K classes, with awards for winners and participants. The coloring sheets include important safety messages.
