N. Pearson Lane from Gray Lane north to Johnson Rd. will be closed starting on Wednesday November 16th, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. for the emergency repair of a 30-inch water transmission main line jointly owned and operated by Southlake and Keller. The duration of the road closure is unknown at this time, and will depend on the extent of the repair required. All residents in the area will have access to their homes. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes. Please refer to the Traffic Control Plan and Detour provided below.
11/17/2016 Update: City crews worked with Wilson Contractor’s crews all night to excavate the site and access the leak. (See featured photo above for photo of the progress.) Now that the extent of the repair has been identified, replacement pipe and associated utility parts and materials have been ordered. The repair is expected to take up to five days, weather permitting. We appreciate motorists’ patience during this emergency repair and detour.
11/18/2016 Update: North Pearson Lane is now open. There is repaving of the road that will be occurring after Thanksgiving. During that time, there will be one lane open at all times and flaggers will manage the traffic flow. The City will continue to keep you updated on the North Pearson construction.
