Lady Dragon Volleyball Nets First Round Playoff Victory

AUBREY – The Carroll Lady Dragon volleyball met a familiar playoff foe on Tuesday.

The Lady Dragons faced McKinney Boyd in the Class 6A bi-district playoffs and avenged last year’s Region I quarterfinal loss with a thrilling victory to advance. This was again a hard-fought match between the teams as Carroll won in four games Tuesday at Denton Braswell High School – 25-16, 17-25, 25-23, 25-23.

The Lady Dragons improved to 40-6 on the season and advance to face Copperas Cove at 6:30 p.m. Friday at West High School.
