LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge begins on Jan. 14 at Bicentennial Park.

Join us as we kick-off our eight week LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge on Saturday, January 14, 2017!

The first event of this year’s LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge, sponsored by Sprout’s Farmer’s Market, will take place at 9a.m. on Saturday, January 14th as we take a walk around Bicentennial Park with Mayor Laura Hill. We will meet at Aria Amphitheater to get warmed up before we head off. Immediately following that will be a health fair at The Marq Southlake. The health fair will include free health screenings, information about health and wellness and what our local sponsors are doing to support that mission.

The LiveFit Southlake Wellness Challenge is a city wide program aimed at encouraging community health and wellness for people of all ages. Throughout the free eight week challenge there will be many events to reach out and connect with the city. These events will include free group fitness classes, CPR certification classes, the LiveWell Lecture Series and Low-Calorie Cook-off among others. If you have not already registered for the Wellness Challenge, you can online at LiveFitSLK.com or in person at any LiveFit Southlake event.

Also, don’t forget to also take advantage of the free group fitness classes going on during the month of January. The classes offered include Zumba, Pilates, and multiple types of yoga.
