The Carroll Dragon boys’ basketball team improved to 2-1 in District 5-6A with a convincing home victory Saturday vs. L.D. Bell.
The Dragons won 57-41 in a game that was rescheduled from Friday due to inclement weather.
Carroll produced three scorers in double figures, led by guard Stephen Blomstrom with 14. Blake Bischler had 13 points and Eric Creech added 12.
The Dragons held a 32-15 lead at the half.
Carroll travels to face Hebron at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Dragons and Hebron are two of four teams in district tied at 2-1 behind Flower Mound at 3-0.
Lady Dragons Fall to L.D. Bell
The Lady Dragons lost 64-43 at home Saturday against the district’s top team — L.D. Bell.
Carroll dropped to 4-10 overall and 0-5 in district. The Lady Dragons return to action Tuesday Hebron at 7:30 p.m.
