Dragon Basketball Falls to Trinity in Overtime

The Carroll Dragon basketball team’s hope of reaching the playoffs ended last Friday on the road.

The Dragon lost to Trinity in overtime 64-61. Carroll falls to 5-8 in District 5-6A with one game remaining on Tuesday.

Carroll produced four scorers in double digits led by guard Stephen Blomstrom’s 16 points. Jack McBride added 14, while Sam Bourcy had 12 and Blake Bischler added 12.

The Dragons held an eight-point lead at halftime before Trinity chipped away and forced overtime.

Carroll ends the season vs. Marcus at 7:30 p.m. at CSHS.
