The Carroll Lady Dragons earned their second victory in District 5-6A action last Friday.
Carroll produced its best performance in district with a 55-22 home victory against Hebron. The win snapped a six-game losing streak.
The Lady Dragons were led by Abby Zeitsiff’s game-high 18 points, while Jillian Sowell added 16 and Anna Gilliatt had six. Carroll led 28-17 at halftime and held Hebron scoreless in the third quarter and allowed just five points in the fourth.
The Lady Dragons (2-11 in district) close the season Tuesday at Flower Mound at 6 p.m.
Dragons Drop Home Game to Hebron
The Dragons fell to district-leading Hebron last Friday 51-44 at CSHS. Carroll dropped to 5-6 in district and is one game out of fourth place with three games to play.
Sam Bourcy led the Dragons with 13 points and Blake Bischler had eight. Carroll has three games remaining – Tuesday at Flower Mound; Friday at Trinity and Tuesday, Feb. 14 at home vs. Marcus. All games start at 7:30 p.m.
