Carroll Indoor Percussion Raises Awareness for Charity Water Through Performances

This past weekend Carrol Indoor Percussion competed their 2017 show FROM DUST at the North Texas ColorGuard Association (NTCA) competition at Adamson High School in Dallas. They participated in the highly competitive Percussion Scholastics Open division. Their show FROM DUST earned a score of 87.75, giving them a 1st place finish. Additionally, they swept 3 of the 4 captions including music, music effect and visual. Currently, FROM DUST is undefeated when competing at NTCA events and ranks number 2 in high scores when competing in WGI events. They will be competing on Saturday, April 8 at Centennial High School in Burleson for the NTCA Championships.

Carroll Indoor Percussion is using their competition show FROM DUST to raise awareness for Charity Water, an organization that build water wells in countries in need of clean water. Indoor Percussion will host a Community Show on Friday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the gym at Carroll High School on White’s Chapel to continue their efforts in raising awareness for this cause.
