Dragon spring football practice starts next week.
The Dragons will hit the field for the first day of spring workouts on Tuesday, April 25. Carroll will practice for four weeks and conclude with the annual Green-White Spring Game on Thursday, May 18 at Dragon Stadium.
Tuesday’s practice will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the CSHS fields. The team will also practice at Dragon Stadium on Friday, May 5 and Friday, May 12.
Carroll has several positions to fill for next season, including quarterback and running back with the graduation of two-year starter Mason Holmes and Audricke Gaines. The Dragons finished 10-2 last season and won the District 5-6A championship. Carroll finished the year as 6A Division II area finalists after falling to eventual state champion DeSoto.
The Dragons will open the 2017 season Friday, Sept. 1 at Broken Arrow, Okla. at 7 p.m.
