Christopher Archer Elected to Place 6

Christopher Archer will be the newest member of the City Council following the recent election to fill the Place 6 seat.

Mr. Archer received 61 percent of the votes cast in the special election.

“I have to give a huge Thank You to my incredible wife, Stacey, and my whole family. I could not have done it without all of you,” Archer said on his Facebook page.

The 53-year old business owner resigned his post as Carroll ISD School Board President on September 11 and will take the Oath of Office for the City Council on September 19. A reception to honor Archer will also take place during the work session of the September 19 meeting. The term ends in May of 2020. The Place 6 seat was vacated by Gary Fawks who stepped down in May.

Mr. Archer has resided in Southlake since 1998 and currently lives in the Timarron subdivision with his wife, Stacey. Between them, they have five children, two graduates from Carroll and three current Dragons.
