On Thursday, October 19, shortly before 5:00 p.m., Southlake Police received a report of a suspicious person in the 1900 block of Water Lily Dr.
The reporting party advised that she and her young daughter were in the front yard of her residence around 4:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. when she observed a clean cut white male in a blue older model sedan (possibly an older model Honda Accord) drive up and stop in front of her residence on the wrong side of the road. When the subject opened his car door, the complainant yelled to her daughter (who was on the sidewalk in close proximity to the vehicle) to come to her. In response to this, the subject closed his door and quickly drove off. Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the subject.
The Southlake Police Department has increased it’s presence in the area this morning and will continue to do so throughout the day.
Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity to the Southlake Police Department at (817) 743-4524, or call 911 if it’s an emergency.
