Carroll ISD to Celebrate and Honor Those Who Have Served

Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11, and all 11 campuses in Carroll ISD will be taking time out of their regular schedules on Thursday or Friday to celebrate and honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Each campus has prepared a special ceremony or recognition and is inviting any family, friends, or members of the community who have served in the military to attend and be honored by Carroll students, faculty and staff on this special day. Check the list below to see the activities planned for your campus.

Carroll Elementary:
CES Veterans Day “Wall of Honor” Choir Performance and Guest Speaker – Friday, November 10 – 8:15 a.m.

Johnson Elementary:
Thursday, November 9
JES Veterans Day Assembly #1 – JES Auditorium – 8:15 – 8:45 a.m.
JES Veterans Day Assembly #2 – JES Auditorium – 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.

Old Union Elementary:
OUES Veterans Day Program – Thursday, November 9 – 6:00 pm and Friday, November, 10 – 9:00 a.m.

Rockenbaugh Elementary:
RES 3rd Grade Veterans Day Performance – Thursday, November 9 – 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Walnut Grove Elementary:
WGES 3rd Grade Veterans Day Tribute – Friday, November 10 – 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Durham Intermediate:
DIS Veterans Day Assembly and Reception – Friday, November 10 – 9:10 – 10:10 a.m.

Eubanks Intermediate:
EIS Veterans Day Program and Guest Speakers –Friday, November 10 – 9:00 a.m.

Carroll Middle:
CMS Veterans Day Assembly with Colonel Gavin D. Tade, United States Air Force – Friday, November 10 – 10:15 – 11:00 a.m.

Dawson Middle:
DMS Veterans Day Assembly with U.S Air Force Staff Sergeant Johnnie Yellock – Friday, November 10 – 2:45 p.m.

Carroll High:
CHS Veterans Day Reception & Luncheon with Military Veterans – Friday, November 10 – 9:45 a.m.

Carroll Senior High:
CSHS Veterans Day Assembly – CSHS Main Gym – Friday, November 10 – 10:00 a.m.
