Carroll Host End of Year Celebration; Names District Teachers of the Year

Wednesday, May 23, Carroll ISD hosted their annual End of Year Reception to celebrate another school year and honor teachers and staff from around the district for their hard work and dedication to the students and family of CISD.

CISD Employees were recognized for numerous accolades including years of service, retirees, various service awards, the inaugural Dragon Core Value Awards Campus and District Teacher of the Year.

Carroll ISD named the 2017-2018 Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year during the banquet. These two educators are eligible to become ESC Region 11’s Top Teacher in the Region. If they are awarded that honor they have the opportunity to compete for Texas Teacher of the Year.

The Secondary District Teacher of the Year is Alli Loftin, Health Science Teacher and Athletic Trainer from Carroll Senior High School. Ms. Loftin has 14 years of experience in education. She joined CISD in the fall of 2008 as an athletic trainer. Loftin graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors and Master’s degree.
