Construction work along FM 1938 continued to make progress in the month of April.
Utility relocation along the Myer’s Meadow subdivision is underway. Tri-County Electric has completed their relocates while the other utility relocations are underway. Once utility work is complete construction of the screening wall will begin. Lane closures are expected for the duration of the screening wall construction.
TxDOT’s contractor continues to make headway on the underground drainage structure north of Beam Drive. The structure is being constructed to provide flood protection for the properties downstream of FM 1938.
This northern portion of the project is expected to be complete by next winter.
As a reminder, while this construction work is being completed, the entire corridor is considered a construction zone and the construction speed limit of 30 mph will remain in place until the project is complete.
