Southlake Spy Academy is a one-of-a-kind summer reading experience for kids at the Southlake Library. Through a series of missions, they will discover data, identify persons of interest and report back key information to intelligence analysts in the Library.
Their ultimate goal: become a Master Spy.
Recruits ages 5-12 will register at the Southlake Summer Kick Off, online or in-person at the Southlake Public Library. In turn, they will receive a Field Guide with a series of missions to fulfill, which includes a reading log. Once missions and/or reading are completed they will return to the Library to advance to the next level. For every five missions, you move up one spy level.
(1 mission = 1 hour of reading)
Signups for Southlake Spy Academy begin June 2 and recruits must complete the program by July 13. Preschool and teen programs available, too.
