Lady Dragons Take Second in TISCA Water Polo State Tourney

The Carroll Dragon High School Water-Polo teams were in action this past weekend at the University of Texas Aquatic Center for the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) State Water-Polo Tournament.

In the 16-Team State tournament, both Teams played well, the Dragon Girls made it all the way to the State Finals, finishing 2nd in the State, dropping a hard-fought game,11-7 vs Denton Guyer.  This makes four years in a row that the Carroll Girl’s Water-Polo Team has finished in the Top 3 at the Texas High School State Water-Polo Tournament.

The Dragon Boys finished 7th and played very well all weekend.

Two Dragon Boys and three Dragon Girls were named TISCA All-State Water-Polo players.

Girls TISCA HS All-State Water-Polo:

Gabby Gervasi – Senior

Sydney Jones – Junior

Jessica Nesbit – Senior

Boys TISCA HS All-State Water-Polo:

Matt Hahn – Junior

Ryan Perham – Junior
