Back to School 2018 – Elementary Early Release Schedule

All Elementary Campuses (Carroll, Johnson, Old Union, Rockenbaugh and Walnut Grove) will have early release days the first week of the 2018-2019 school year.

This week is not only used to help CISD’s youngest Dragons adjust to their new school schedule but also it gives the teachers an opportunity to conduct beginning of the year benchmark testing.

The schedule for the first week of school (elementary only) is:

August 20 – 24
Preschool: 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Kindergarten – Grade 4: 7:40 a.m. – 11:55 a.m.

Regular School Hours Resume on Monday, August 27
Preschool: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Kindergarten – Grade 4: 7:40 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.
