FM 1938 Construction Near Myers Meadow Gets Underway

Starting August 6, TxDOT is planning to close the northbound outside (right) lane on FM 1938 from just north of FM 1709 (Southlake Blvd) to near Camden Circle.

The closure is to allow crews to start construction of the screen wall adjacent to the Myers Meadow subdivision located on the east side of FM 1938. Drivers should be aware that the lane will remain closed and will result in a single northbound thru lane around the work zone until the screen wall work is completed at the end of October.

As a reminder, while construction work is being completed, the entire FM 1938 corridor is considered a construction zone and the current speed limit of 30 mph will remain in place until the project is complete.
