Home for the Holidays – 4 Tips to Have a Great Time at the Event!

The 2018 Home for the Holidays kicks off this weekend, and we want to prepare you and your family for this wonderful celebration.

Join us as we bring the holiday magic to Southlake Town Square Saturday, November 17 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the Annual Tree lighting Ceremony scheduled to take place 6:00 p.m.

There is something for everyone at Home for the Holidays! Don’t miss the impressive line-up of event activities such as carriage rides, snowman building, a ride down the four-lane snow hill, warm and sweet holiday refreshments, seasonal crafts, live entertainment and a trip to Santa’s village where kids can take pictures with Santa himself.

With visitors and shoppers flocking to Town Square this weekend, here are four easy tips to help you as you head out for the Home for the Holidays festivities:

1. Bring gloves or mittens: We are bringing in 50,000lbs of snow to accommodate the snow hill and the snowman building. We don’t want the little ones to get cold hands, so let’s keep those hands warm so we can play in the snow a little bit longer.

2. Parking: Parking will be available at both the East Garage and West Garage.

3. Rideshare: If you are planning on using a rideshare service, direct your driver to our designated drop off location at Summit Park located at 1501 Main Street.

4. New this year, the City is offering event update text alerts. All you have to do is text H4HSLK to 888777, and you are set to go to receive event updates in real time. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
