Basketball Programs Rack Up Postseason Awards

Both the Dragon Basketball and Lady Dragon Basketball teams made playoff runs this season. The Boys Basketball team won six out their last seven games to make a late push to earn a spot in the postseason tournament. As for the Lady Dragons, they started their district schedule with a quick four-game winning streak and remained consistent throughout their district schedule and secured fourth place and a playoff birth in the very competitive District 6-5A.

The Dragons Boys team fell in the bi-district round to a tough Lewisville team 66-57, and the Lady Dragons lost in a thriller in the same round to a very talented Irving MacArthur team by one point 44-43.

Although the season may have ended earlier than both teams had hoped for, the postseason recognitions have begun to show just how hard these student-athletes worked this season. The follow Dragons and Lady Dragons have been recognized for their hard work both on and off the court.
