BPA Students Excel on the National Stage

The Carroll ISD Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter traveled to Anaheim, California this past week to compete at the BPA National Leadership Conference.

All three National Qualified students placed in the top 10 for their event and were recognized on-stage during the conferences closing awards ceremony.

Sophia Polisetty placed ninth overall in Business Law and Ethics, Caleb Jiang finished eighth in PC Servicing and Troubleshooting, and Blake Bottum finished second in the country in JAVA Programming.

In addition to their event, all three students participated and competed well in open events.  These events are open for anyone who has qualified nationally to compete in during the National Leadership Conference. These Dragons competed at an outstanding level in these national contests as well.

Jiang finished second overall in Digital Marketing Concepts and fifth in Digital Communications & Design Concepts. Bottum finished in the top 40 out of over 400 in Management, Marketing, & HR Concepts. Polisetty ranked in the top 75 out of over 550 in BPA Merit Scholar contest.

Lastly, all three students participated in Certiport and/or Precision Exam Certifications, and achieved 3 or more industry certifications each.
