It’s Time to Kick Off Summer in Southlake

Let the festivities begin! The Southlake Public Library is hosting the annual Southlake Summer Kick Off in Bicentennial Park on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 10 a.m.

Kids, teens and parents can join in on the fun and experience one of many exciting activities.

Explore our craft stations, test your skills in an obstacle course or find hidden treasures during the scavenger hunt.  You may even see Blackland Prairie Raptors.

After a hard day of fun, cool off and grab a bite from Rita’s Italian Ice while jamming to our favorite DJ.

Don’t forget to sign up for Southlake’s Summer Reading program.  This year, summer reading ventures into the enchanted forest of the Rookery Woods Bookery, a magical experience with creatures, adventures and secret discoveries.

Participants are transported into a world of wonder and mystery while discovering the power of imagination and learning.

This is a free program for kids and teens which allow them to reach new levels and win prizes by completing adventures and reading.

The annual Southlake Summer Kick Off is the perfect family outing to get into the summer spirit.

If you haven’t connected with the Southlake Public Library yet take a look at the calendar of events .
