The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names this week of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 65th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Carroll ISD is proud to announce that 23 of our students have been recognized by the NMSC.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,600 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 million that will be offered next spring. To be considered for a National Merit Scholarship, Semifinalists must advance to Finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards and all other requirements explained in the information provided to each semifinalist.
