Dragon Tennis Advances to Regional Semis

The Dragon Tennis team inched out a close one Tuesday evening in a matchup regional quarterfinal matchup with Coppell High School. The win vaults the Dragons into the regional semifinals in Abilene this weekend for a shot to head to the UIL State Tournament.

The Dragons return to the semifinals again for the second straight year.

The Dragons took care of business early in the playoffs with match victories against Flower Mound and Lake Highlands. In the quarterfinal matchup, the Dragons defeated Coppell 10-8. In Team Tennis that means that the entire match came down to one singles match.
