Southlake Lights Up for Home for the Holidays 2019

What twinkles and glistens and lights up the City of Southlake with holiday cheer? Home for the Holidays Tree Lighting of course! The annual celebration returns this year to bring you a merry and bright season on Saturday, November 23 from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in SouthlakeTown Square!  The Tree Lighting ceremony, sponsored by Classic Chevrolet takes place approximately at 6 p.m.

This family-friendly event is filled with activities that everyone can enjoy.  Grab a cup of hot chocolate and delight yourself in holiday festivities; take a ride on a carriage through Town Square or to the sounds of the Christmas Carolers. If you have little ones, Santa Claus and his elves will make a special appearance in Santa’s Village for pictures or they can hang out in the kids craft station and try their hand in cookie decorating and ornament making.  For a fun adrenalin rush, slide down the 12-foot high four-lane snow hill. Want to build your own snowman? Guess what? We have that too! Snowman building will be located near the snow hill.

This year, we are expecting it to be a bit chilly so make sure you bring mittens or gloves for your little ones to play in the snow.

Parking will be available at the East Garage and West Garage. If you plan to use a ride share service, please direct them to our designated drop off location at Summit Park located at 1501 Main Street.

For real-time updates before and during the event, please text H4HSLK to 888777.  For questions or concerns, please call 817-748-8019.
