Ballot by Mail Registration is Now Open

The 2020 election season is upon us. Do you need to file for a ballot by mail?

Filing opened January 1 for a ballot by mail for all of the 2020 election dates.

If a voter meets one of the four conditions that prevents them from appearing in person during the early voting period or the election, they are eligible to apply for a ballot by mail. Information on applying for a ballot by mail as a Tarrant or Denton County voter can be found here.

Voters must apply and the application received by February 21 for the March 3 primary election. For the May 2 election, the deadline for the ballot by mail application to be received is April 20.

The City of Southlake General Election will be May 2. Early voting is available April 20-28. More information about the general election is available here.
