Dragon Soccer Extends Streak; Clinches Second Straight District Title

An early attack on the net set the Dragon Soccer team up to not only extend their impressive 17 game-winning streak but also seal up their second straight 5-6A District Championship.

The Dragons rolled to an easy 8-0 victory over Fossil Ridge on the night where the Class of 2020 celebrated Senior Night with their families.

The team was lead by Matthew Hern, who netted the first two goals for the Dragons. Robbie Pino, Jackson Clay, Rory Skains, Ryan Westerberg, Griffin Massey, and Kyle Reynolds added goals on the evening.

The victory was also a milestone for second-year Dragon head coach Aaron Cottrell. This was the coach’s 200th win as a head soccer coach.

The Dragons on currently 18-1 overall, winning 18 straight after dropping the season opener, and a perfect 11-0 in district play this season.
