Carroll Student Councils to Host Homecoming Drive Through Event

Due to the restrictions in place from the COVID-19 Pandemic, Carroll Senior High and Carroll High School Student Council members had to get creative in order to keep the CISD Homecoming traditions intact. This year’s theme is “Turn Back Time.”

The student council groups are excited to present the Dragon Drive-Thru on Wednesday, November 18 at Dragon Stadium from 5:00-6:30 p.m., in place of the traditional Homecoming Parade the district usually holds in Southlake Town Square.

This drive-through event will feature your favorite senior high and high school spirit groups and of course, the Homecoming royalty. Student organizations and clubs will line the parking lot of Dragon Stadium as the community drives through. Each student organization will represent a different decade and Dragon fans will get to travel through time as they work through the parade route.

For entry into the drive-through event, the student councils are hoping that the community will help them to Pack the Pantry for the upcoming holidays by bringing/donating five items of need (Cream of Mushroom Soup, Canned Fruit, Chicken Noodle Soup, Canned Tuna/Chicken, or personal hygiene items) benefiting our local Grace food pantry.

There is an opportunity for the community to participate in the event as well. If you plan on attending the event, you are invited to take place in the first ever car decorating contest. To enter this contest, you will need to fill out this form by November 13.
