Back to School Traffic and Road Construction: What You Need to Know

The 2021-2022 school year kicks off next week and the City of Southlake’s Mobility Team wants you to get there safely and on time, of course.

Below are the traffic plans that will help you navigate back to school with ease.

Carroll Senior High School Traffic – Peytonville Road and W. Southlake Boulevard
Two School Resource Officer’s (SROs) will work the traffic in the area.
One SRO will direct traffic heading in and out of the campus from S. Peytonville Road, while the other SRO assists with exiting traffic onto W. Southlake Boulevard from the main entrance.

Carroll High School- N. White Chapel Boulevard
Two SROs will direct traffic at both entry and exit points. During school drop off and pick up times, it is recommended to find another route if your destination is not Carroll High School to assist with keeping traffic flowing.

Florence Elementary – Johnson Road
An officer will direct traffic at the intersection of Johnson Road and Harrell Drive.

Please note – Although Florence Elementary is a part of the Keller Independent School District, it is located within the City of Southlake’s city limits.
