Adventure Begins at the Southlake Public Library

This summer, pitch your tent under a canopy of reading at the Southlake Public Library.

This summer, the Southlake Public Library is transforming the traditional summer reading journey into an adventure that transcends the pages of a book. From May 24 to July 19, youth aged from birth – 18 years are invited to dive into the world of literature, where every book read increases their chances of winning fantastic prizes.

Participants could win immediate rewards, such as tickets to NRH2O Water Park, or whimsical keepsakes like slime, bouncy balls, and squishy toys—coveted treasures for any young explorer.

Readers can look forward to an amazing lineup of activities that promise to captivate and entertain. Highlights include a Family Scavenger Hunt, Wild Adventures with Animals, a Magic Show, a Kids’ Art Club, and many other engaging programs!

Our summer program begins as the school year ends. Join us at the Summer Reading Backyard Party on Friday, May 24, at 10:00 AM. This is the perfect start to summer, featuring a lively DJ, creepy critters, and friendly competition with giant lawn games.

So, lace up your hiking boots, pack your library card, and set out on the book trails. The Southlake Public Library awaits, ready to turn every page into a new adventure. Join us and let the stories begin!
