Boost Your Woman-Owned Business with the TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs’ Free Seminar and Workshop at Southlake Public Library.
Tracy Irby, from the TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs, will host a free seminar and workshop on Wednesday, March 23 at 1 p.m. on the third floor of Southlake Town Hall.
Ms. Irby will talk about the services the Center for Women Entrepreneurs offers, including:
- Small Business Advising
- Funding – Grant Programs
- Networking & Training Events
- Incubator Programs
Irby will also discuss startup basics from the list provided below:

- Naming Your Business
- Business Registrations
- Home office/Co-working space/brick & mortar

- Employee or Contract Labor

About the Speaker:
Tracy Irby has a passion for entrepreneurship. She helped create the small business-advising program for the Center for Women Entrepreneurs after working 6 years as a business advisor in the SBDC network. She has been a serial entrepreneur for 25-plus years and owned one of the first Sears Hometown Dealer Stores, a gym, a bounce house rental business, an online self-defense business, in addition to being a licensed insurance agent and property investor.
She has an MBA & BBA in marketing from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is a graduate of the OU Economic Development Institute and holds an Economic Development Finance Certification from the National Development Council.
