The 2021 General Election will occur on the May 1, 2021 Election Date. Mayor and Place 2 are scheduled for election this year.

The first day under the State Election calendar to file an application for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Filing begins at 8 am on Wednesday. The last day to file for a place on the ballot and for a political subdivision to order the general election is Friday, February 12, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Election filings will be received by the City Secretary during regular business hours and links to election forms and information on individuals who have filed to run in the election will be available on the City’s website.

Early voting by personal appearance will occur from Monday, April 19, 2021, to Tuesday, April 27, 2021, with election day being on May 1, 2021. The final day to register to vote in the May 1 election is Thursday, April 1, 2021.
