Signing up for a library card doesn’t require you to appear in person. The Southlake Public Library offers online sign up for new customers.

When you sign up, you gain immediate access to the downloadable e-books, audiobooks, e-magazines, BookFLIX, research databases and other digital library offerings as soon as you are verified.
To be eligible for a card, you must be the following:
- Southlake resident
- Carroll ISD staff, parents and students
- Carroll ISD employees
- City of Southlake employee
- Southlake Chamber of Commerce members
- Texshare cardholders
Customers can fill out an application and apply for a library card online.
